Subject: | WarpOS Prefs |
Hi,
My WarpOS v5.0 prefs are currently set as:-
Memory protection - off
Terminator - 2
No Patch - on
I've just tried turning memory protection on , all seemed well until I
tried WarpGif which resorted in a software failure.
After changing back to M.P off and rebooting I still got the same
result. Only after a power off/on did WarpGif work again.
Should M.P be turned on?
I use BPPCFix and ppclibemu. The WarpOS docs say that the terminator
should always be set to 2 on a BPPC, but ppclibemu docs say the
terminator should be set to 0 or 1 for it to work.
PPClibemu seems to work fine for me with the terminator set to 2 , but
which is the best value?
The PPClibemu also recommend having no patch on, but the WarpOS docs
recommend it's off. Which is best?
Many thanks
