I checked the simpleftp website...no sign of any activity for a while now :(
Anyway, I did have a question floating in my brain somewhere...
Oh yeah, talking of servers Rob, I`m writing a server to control the MAS Mp3
player. I couldn`t figure out how to get the TCPListen command to work, so I
went back to the earlier BSD lib commands and it listens and accepts
connections OK.
Trouble is, when I shut down the server and close&release all sockets used,
they still show up in Genesis`s netstat as being in a closed state for quite
a while afterwards( anything upto 10 mins), which means I can`t restart the
server as it fails to bind the socket.
Any ideas? (if it`s any help, a netstat on the client machine shows the
sockets used as fin_wait and/or fin_ack)
