Hi all,
Well it's a while since I've contributed - although I have been subscribed all
this time and have tried to keep up with many of the threads. I might even do
a bit more ARexx development for DOpus if I have the time or there is the
demand - I'm thinking about some sort of advanced "Find" utility, following
the recent thread.
Anyway, you may be wondering about the subject line (if you bothered to open
the mail, given the subject line!). I just found what may be a new hidden
feature of DOpus, or knowing my luck is probably well-known.
Do this while you are on-line - you need a TCP/IP stack running.
Go to the "Opus/Execute Command..." menu item. Press "CLI" to open the
internal CLI. Type "FTPConnect". You will get the FTP connect window with
nothing in the various string boxes. With the window in this state, press
"Connect". You will get an error message and for some reason after you have
pressed "OK", you are left with the host set as "Shrubbery". So the influence
of Monty Python gets everywhere!
Regards,
Keith
