of course.

Ouch! hmmm, it seems another Amiga developer has seen the logic in
attempting to breach the immense Windows market after refining their
product on the Amiga market. Good luck.

I guess if users have problems with this we can find other apps to
work around and do what we did with DOpus.

When the Amiga One launches I wonder how many legacy developers will
continue to get the support of the community if they can't find a way
to work with Amiga Inc.? I realize H&P is a sub contracter and goals
aren't always easy to compromise on. Trouble is that there is a
potential for a large new market on the horizon. I guess everyone
picks there battles and throws their own dice.

Sounds like lots of backstory here. Its a shame. I really felt like
DOpus Magellan was mature and worked well with 3.1. I had gotten
things to the point that I actually had it configured to automate a
number of things....took me a while....but probably no longer than to
find other apps and scripts and set them up with the dock or iconx.

Sorry, I didn't realize this had been explored to this point.

Well, on the surface I'd agree. Given the Amiga's history adding such
bell's and whistles seems consistent. It was a multimedia system when
the word hadn't been invented.

Current efforts into convergence would seem to argue that interfaces
and access to systems is where things will be changing most in the
near future. I'm hoping for applications that actually get along with
the first channel of user interaction.
