This reminds me of actually two problems I had but none of them were like
GT's fault. One is if you plan to use it over NFS - be sure it is properly
configured and you can both read and write properly to it otherwise it may
get confused as the filesystem is said to be writable but the actual data
(e.g. Globaltrash.index) can not be put but there was no real error
returned from the action. It happened to me once with one of the older
linux NFS server implementations.
The other is if you use it within UAE - the Amiga filesystem peculiarities
(like filecoments and co.) are placed in some database files there. And
this part of the emulation is somewhat buggy yet. It may confuse some
programs including GT. The solution is to delete those files affected. Of
course unless you run UAE on an Amiga... ;-)
Beside that on a real AmigaOS - no probs.
