No. NONSD disables the NSDPatch functionality in SetPatch completely,
i.e. your devs:NSDPatch.cfg file will be ignored and your devices won't
get the NSD treatment - any non NSD compliant device driver will
remain that way. This is usually a *bad* idea.
OTOH, SKIPROMUPDATES prevents specific modules from being updated by
the "AmigaOS ROM Update" file.
In other words, NONSD is to devs:NSDPatch.cfg what NOROMUPDATE is to
"devs:AmigaOS ROM Update". Clear? :-)
Needless to say, you should only avoid updating modules *if* absolutely
necessary. For more information re: NSD, see the old NSDPatch archive
you can get e.g. with the demo of MakeCD.
