Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me, my setup is an A1200, OS 3.0, I
have two CDROM`s on one IDE cable coming from an eyetech buffered IDE
interface, I also have a 120mb conner 2.5 harddrive attached as well. My
problem is that I have just bought myself a lovley big 10GB
Western Digital 3.5 IDE harddrive I have attached it with another IDE cable
to the spare IDE socket on the eyetech adapter. I`v used HDtoolbox and
HDinstools but they fail to even reconise my new harddrive in any way, no
disk icon appears on the workbench screen, the harddrive itself seems to
run ok and I can hear it starting up on boot time. I have tried all types
of master/slave settings with and without the CDROM`s attached I have also
tried trackdisk64, giga.device, although I was not really sure how to set
them up properly or if I really need them. I hope I have given enough info
on this problem. thanks.

I would like to apologise for me moaning the other day and would like to say
thanks to Niel Bothwick and all those who responded. although I have been
an Amiga user since 1988 I am fairly new to the Amiga group scene and have
very much been an Amiga loner for a long time *n*ot knowing that there was
so much help around and it`s really great knowing theres an Amiga communty
out there. Keep up the good work fellas!
