That was an artefact of the design of the layout engine, a hideous hideous
hack. Once Olli's got the new layout enginge sorted, he can implement lovely
"text clip" methods on all the little objects so you can drag over them and
have them all be in the "right" (that is, as Internet Explorer, probably) order.

Because I've not seen an Elbox product yet that didn't piss me off. My Power
Tower is pretty, but the screws don't align and I keep cutting nmy fingers
when I take the lid off. And the ads had porty bits on the back for serial
stuff etc. but the actual case didn't (not even a blanking plate to replace)
*AND* the blanking plates used for the card slots were even the wrong
type for this style case! The ones required have a little "lip" at the end,
I managed to blag a load of these because I used to work with the same
kinds of cases at work. But the ones they supplied were the plain flat
ones, which is.. just.. plain NAFF!
See, 9 lines on one product. Don't get me started on the politics of it all,
the Elbox dirty tricks campaign, the dumb press releases to slag off
the other products, the crash-inducing MMU hacks used to work around
hardware bugs, the fact that it's gonna be useless for current PPC owners
and added expense for anyone who wants to get any functionality out of
the board with a SharkPPC.. phew :P

There's no reason, but I'm not buying a PPC so that I can run MorphOS - I'm
buying a PPC so I can have a gfx card and another network card and it's the
nicest and cheapest and less hassle-prone route. MorphOS will be a nice
bonus, apparently the native ixemul and gcc ports make compiling Voyager
something to smile at.. :P

Why? They're identical in every way.. AmigaOS is AmigaOS is MorphOS is
AmigaOS.. CybergraphX is CybergraphX, and apart from some JS problems
(MorphOS doesn't have a flat stack, and some of the stuff it did assumed
that) it's.. umm.. identical :P

Nextgen sucks. My usage of this Amiga hasn't outgrown it, it's just gotten
to a point where I can't stand to be using it in it's current, slightly raw
state. It's nippy, it does things, but a 50Hz refresh rate on the monitor is
EVIL on the brain, 256 colours isn't enough really (although I'll still do
most of my work in 800x600 mode, just at 85Hz or so ;) and I'm running
out of chipram all the time (and a gfx card means I can GREATLY reduce
some of the patches I run, FBlit, FText, BlazeWCP (no, I didn't even download
the trojans, I know better :) could all go out of the window ;P
Plus I'd love to see all that transparency stuff in MUI 3.9 :)
Thanks
