weird....have you got that mode defined in CGXMode. and if so, is it set
as single scan or double scan (ie have you tested it in CGXMode).
i found a LOT of my modes were way off ...and tweaking them gives great
results...for example, i was able to push up my 512x384 mode by over 25Hz
which improved gameplay a lot
