I use SongPlayer often instead of AmigaAMP. both are using MPEGA WarpUP.
as for slowing the system down...with the PPC doing all of the MP3 legwork
and my 060 running AmigaOS and its apps there very very very little
slowdown..in fact no noticeable slowdown at all.
