Hi Matt, on 20-Apr-01, you wrote:

You too? I got myself a Power Tower for two reasons - mainly because I
need a network card (and a graphics card would be nice too) so a
Mediator seemed like the sensible option. The other reason was because
my Eyetech tower was a complete hack, as well as being messy and ugly
(having the plastic base of the A1200 attached to the tower case with
cable ties?? FFS!). I'd heard nothing but good reviews of the Power
Tower - but the screws don't align! I can't screw in my mobo, and I
can't screw in my Mediator either, because the bit to screw it into is
about 5mm away from where it ought to be.

What really bugs me about it is there's nowhere to stick my audio
mixer. At the moment it's just hanging out of the back of one of the
blanking plates.

Mine came with the right type of blanking plates.

On the whole I don't have anything against Elbox, and these things are
just minor niggles for me.
