Now now, no. AA has been around long enough to be recognised as a
magazine in its own right.

It was about perception, not intelligence. There was already a lot of
connections with CU, but we wanted to make it clear that AA wasn't a
relaunch of CU.

It wouldn't take long to modify the index builder to build new index
files. Then I'd just have to spend several hours feeding AFCDs into my
CDROM drive. Why didn't you suggest this a couple of weeks ago, before
my CD changer packed up? :(
