I've never had any problems with my Power Tower, but I bought mine with an A1200
motherboard pre-installed, as my desktop A1200 had a very dodgy video output.
This then opened up the way to get the PPC and BVision I'd had my eye on. I
wouldn't have expected there to be any problems, although if I go the Amigaone
route later, I may find problems mounting the daughterboard, as my tower is
mainly a housing for all my drives and a beefier power supply for my
accelerator.
I've never had any problems with accelerator or my Silversurfer, so I think the
motherboard was fixed - it's certainly not a 1.D.1. If the board was new when
I got it, then it was probably an Escom era motherboard.
