Hiya..
Further investigation into my Nightlong/Quake 060 problems has now finally
revealed that it does not appear to be my memory simms that are causing the
problems. I have tried about 8 different EDO simms and all worked fine in
the system but still had the same Quake/Nightlong problems.
However...
While I had the Apollo060 board out of the tower I had a good look at it and
noticed that on the 060 chip it has:
XC68<looks like 2 letters 'scratched' off>060RC60
Is this normal to have these letters scratched off the chip??? :-/
I bought it from Eyetech late last November after my 040 died (well got too
faulty to use)
