I think they're providing ExecPPC and a few other bits and bobs. Expect H&P
to have less and less to do with AOS as time goes on, at the moment they're
in the process of handing everything back over.
As for MUI wasn't it do with with licencing agreements, as in Stuntz wanted
(quite rightly) to be paid a fee for the inclusion of MUI and it's use but
H&P wanted him to hand over the source for free like what happened with the
awful, awful classact. I'm not sure if that is true or not, but that's
what I heard.
I've asked Amiga Inc. to at least get a licence to use MUI for the GUI, even
if they don't bundle it with the OS and it is the 68K version they use.
This would also benifit those who want to support both MorphOS and AOS, if
they both used the same standard GUI. Or am I dreaming again? Could
anyone on here find out what the chances of something like that happening
from both parties?
Regards
