Well, what if it did work? Maybe, just maybe, it did work for them, and
didn't work on your machine. Hey, that type of thing happens a lot, read
some of the posts on this list and you'll see. Generic parts like hard
drives, CD-ROM drives etc. Were never designed for the Amiga, and so were
never tested for compatibility. I'll bet Power did more for you than the
manufacturer of the hard drive would if you told them about your system. My
CD-ROM drive locks up the IDE bus when you access CDDA: as files while using
the hard drive. An obscure bug, but it happens. I just live with it. I was
laughed at when I asked about it in the shop where I bought it, so I just
put up with it.

Mark, we all know you had a specific problem with your machine, but it's
really just that: A problem with your machine. There's a lot more to it than
getting a new accelerator. Have you done /everything/ that was advised to
you on this list? A lot of people have good experiences of Power, it's just
the dissatisfied minority who make all the noise. I personally have dealt
with them on a few occasions, and each time the goods have arrived in 4
working days. That's not too shabby when you consider I'm in Ireland.
Regards,
Rob
