Linux on a x86 will. LinuxAPUS wont (yet). we're finding it difficult
enough to get an A4k owner to finish a SCSI_PPC driver.... it should
be a lot easier to just modify the current c86 voodoo3 driver...so long
as information on the location of the PCI etc is openly documented
(ie Mediator is almost a no no)

i believe theres a Debian installer script..... if you think you install
Linux on the Amiga like its a program under AmigaOS then you are way off
track... it goes onto its own custom formatted disk partition..its is its
own OS
