doesnt matter - its based and uses the GPL code, so it has to go out.

I guess the reason for no source release is because of the 'closed' nature
of the V plugin system?? there again, you just stick stubs and dead
functions into those places with a few comments and then released the
nonclosed stuff (like SUN did with OpenOffice)

I'd rather have plugins then embedded. that way, when the format changes
you dont have to wait for a browser update.
