But according to Matt there shouldn't be a community. That's
communism or sommat. I think the guy involved was just appalled by
the way some people involved behaved. I can't blame him, sometimes I
can't beleive that I'm conversing with adults!!!

No-one HAS to release anything. At the end of the day, he still got
something out of his hard work. he can now watch Movies from his
browser. The guy wasn't involved with the arguments, he was just
annoyed by some of the things said.

But if the lists are public then that is to be expected. If it is in
a private conversation then that is different. Some people tend to
forget that at the end of internet connections are people, and just
say whatever they feel like, unlike they would in "real life". If
this or any other mailing list were a physical meeting instaed then I
think people would act different.
