That's interesting. Did you get better docs with
IDEFix than those on the Amiga OS CD?
A friend of mine had a problem with his CD drive
when changing from AmiCDFS to CacheCDFS.
The drive made a short metallic kind of noise
whenever it was starting reading from the CD.
That's how we found that changing the Control
entries really made a difference.
When we told others about this, some of them
found that they also had made a less than optimal
installation of CacheCDFS.
As Amiga Inc now is in charge of OS developement,
hopefully this childish infighting amongst the
Germans will no longer affect the installation
scripts :)
