| Subject: | Hard drives again |
Hi,
This is my first posting to this group so go easy
on me.
Having recently placed my A1200 desktop into an
EZ tower I found that my IDE hard drive then
refused to boot up. It spins up and makes all the
right noises but then I get the Insert disk
screen. When I use the HD setup program I get a
garbled description and type when it recognises
the drive. I have tried another drive, with the
same response.
Is my IDE interface on the motherboard defective
or have I got two duff drives ?
Please help ;(
