I don't know really, I'd consider that if there is no real alternative to
the product and the user requires it, then the user is at a loss if they
refuse to buy it on principle.
Of course, if you've got two developers and two products to choose
from you can make an "informed choice". I consider Ralph Schmidt to
be the lesser of two evils.
