I am waiting for the soundcard drivers for the soundblaster (1024 live) in
my mediator at the moment and have been wondering about AHI for some time.
It does seem to slow the system down ever ever so slightly when using
Paulas 14bit hifi modes.
I am guessing by what you say that if you use a soundcard with AHI you dont
get the slowdown problems or nuthin?
(btw, I dont suppose anyone knows of the soundblaster has any hardware
assistance for mp3 playback? :-) )
