Well that blows my theory then !
I had nothing but trouble with DS and text when running an 060. Strangely it
totally disappeared when I used exactly the same software and settings when
the HD was put in an 040 Amiga. Maybe its something else but I have yet to
track down what. At least for me DS now works fine but on the Blizzard 060
it crashed every time, the only way was to use v1 to place text and then
import into v2. Any new project in v2 just bombed out as soon as I tried to
place any text. Oddly I could place text with no problem on an old project,
it was the first time I tried to use text in a new project that DS2
crashed. With the 040 I never get that now.
Who knows. DS2 is a mystery but it does have a real problem with fonts on
some systems and the cause as yet seems unknown.
