That'll be MooVid - I've got it running on my Voodoo, and although I've now
got an Apollo 060, I got very respectable speeds out of my Blizzard 030. In
terms of supported codecs, it's got a fair few, but if it's the SVQ1 codec
you're after, then you're going to be very out of luck, I'm afraid - I
believe that Micro$oft own that little gem, and want money from developers
if they write decoders for it. More money than the author is ever going to
make in terms of sales.
A demo of MooVid should be on Aminet - though I think that Action is
actually a cut-down version of MooVid anyways. You can get MooVid from
Kicksoft at the web site, www.kicksoft.co.uk, IIRC. It should cost you
about a tenner, or the equivalent in dollars.
