Ive done continuity checks now on all the pins of
the adaptor (it has the track cut on pin 1 but I
know the Miggy does not use the reset signal)and
that all checks out O.K, so I have come to the
conclusion that I have a dry joint on my
motherboard. Ive managed to get the drive
recognised now by taping the ribbon cable a
different way so as to make the connection. I
know this solution is bodging it a bit but it
will do until I get a spare few hours to resolder
the motherboard.
Has anyone else had similar problems with
motherboard connectors/pins ?
