there are three types of ADSL terminals available. Serial, USB and Lan
(ethernet). USB is worryingly to common. serial ones are very hard to get.
the ethernet ones are the best. if the one you have in mind asks for a LAN
connection , then that means ethernet - either get a CNet PCMCIA card for
your A1200, or a NE2000 network card in a Mediator busboard (or wait for
AOne board etc)
it its serial, then you're sorted, just treat it like a modem (as with the
serial ISDN terminals) if its USB, then unless you have a modern PC or Mac
and have a home network then forget it
