I suppose, by definition, a PDA is a glorified address book and calendar.
However, they also tell the time and can double as calculators!
Confused?
Ok, a PDA is a watch, calculator, address book and calendar!
Ah, but if it has an infra red link, you can use it to send emails via your
mobile phone!
So........a PDA is a watch, calendar, address book, calculator, email
enabled device!
But the Handspring models also play games!!!!!
OK, OK it's another name for a pocket computer!!!! Happy now???
Handsprings can take pictures too!
So it's a bloody clever pocket computer with a different name!!!!!!
Handsprings also have global positioning capabi.........SHUT UP!!!!!!!
A pocket computer will do what your PC can do but it's pocket sized!
A PDC is like having your best mate follow you around showing off all the
latest 'toys' he's just bought and reminding you that it's his birthday
soon, you're almost out of sugar, your mother is coming over next tuesday,
you have to phone your girlfriend on friday...............
