Blimey! Must be a hard disk duff up day or summat!

I have been running SFS on my drives for the last oohh.. 11months now and
never had any serious problems (got the occasional thing on startup saying
it had fixed a sector or summat)

Anyway, got home from York shopping and slapped the CD I bought into the
drive to play it (Dido cd) and then went online and started YAM.. straight
after that I got partition errors all over my drive and could not get rid
of em so I rebooted.. big mistake :-/ My hard disk vanished. So I powered
down and it came back thankfully but ALL partitoons were unreadable s I
tried disksalv and tried to get em running but that didnt work and then I
tried to find some other way of accessing the SFS partitions - Finally, in
the end.. good old Quarterback Tools from CUCD12 saved the day! It got all
my work back and all the boot partition and internet stuff (phew)

So if you get a problem with a SFS partition dont bother with disksalv - it
wouldnt touch it here, use Quarterback Tools instead.

Cheerio
