I think the reason that Tandy went down the chute comes from when they
started focussing on selling phones/tvs/videos etc and wern't competetive
in that field. Should have stuck to selling all the components and
weird stuff you couldn't get anywhere else and they might still have a
presence in the high street!

When I replaced an occilator on a BlizzardIV 030, I got it from RS
components after trying all sorts of dodgy gaffs (including maplin). The
part numbers and descriptions were a bit of a nightmare but I ended up
with the right part after a bit of searching (and no it didnt overclock
like I wanted!)
