What kind of amiga is it? There could be some kind of hardware fault
(2b A1200?), as it still fails if you remove all the patches?
Although are you sure you got all of them? Have you tried backing up
your sys partition and doing a re-install?

My old stereo used to pick up the police, I'd sometimes hear a muffled
voice as a cop car drove past! It's radio could also tune into taxi
frequencies. It's tape unit also suffered from interference, causing
it to pause whenever something was switched on in the house, odd
thing that was (shame it broke as the sound quality was really good)
