Have you got the transparent menus turned on? I love 'em :)
Talking of menus, err, sorry, "pop ups", a mate of mine showed me an
infantile but very amusing trick on PCs, of grabbing the start bar and
whooshing it up to the top of the screen, whereupon it operates very
similar to the Amiga system. Having tried it a few times, it confuses
the hell out of people, and they don't seem able to work out how to
get it back down again :)
