AFAIK they are just standard text files, there are no special formats for
e-mail messages (other than MIME stuff etc. but that is standard anyway, I
think :)

Its not like YAM, it doesn't store them in individual files (because OE is,
as Matt would say, a crock of sh*t ;) it stores them in one huge "swapfile"
kinda thing, which makes importing/exporting them very difficult.
Which is why I use PMMail 2000 on my PC. Search for "pmmail" on
