You need to set up a working network between the two Amigas before you can start
thinking about sharing an Internet connection.

The best way is ethernet, a couple of PCMCIA cards and a suitable cable.
However, this is rather excessive for chatting and email, a serial or
parallel link would be sufficient for that.
Which you go for depends on whether you have free serial or parallel
ports. Serial using a null-modem cable is reliable and Miami handles
this internally. If you want to use a parallel connection you need a
special cable and suitable software. Have a look at MAGplip on aminet.
