Have you tried loading it into ann ascii text editor(EditPad)? A rtf
file should load into it and be just ascii text with controll
characters. Have you tried DocDatatypes, the rtf datatype handles rtf
files very well. You could also see what filetype they recognise the
file as(some files appeneded with .rtf are infact word files which
could be why WW is having problems).
