First, use MooVid. Action is a cut down version and does not have all the
features of MooVid.
I'm not sure how fast the G-Rex is with graphics cards so I would assume
that it is the driver for the graphics card that is slow.
I am surprised that you are having problems getting MooVid playing MOW/AVI
files because even when I was using AGA on my 040/33 I had excellent
playback. Of course it does depend on which file you are trying to play.
If you are trying to play some files like that 'FreeSpace' MOV file, then
even I still have problems getting it to work smoothly. If you have got
OS3.9, try some of the AVI files (monsters.avi is my favourite) off the CD
as they should work really well.
The other solution it to try the different settings in MooVid's tooltypes
(if it's a full version). Some setting work better than others.
