Never tried this myself, but what about telnetting into your server? It's a
bit of a roundabout way of doing things, but accessing a server on your own
machine is basically doing the same thing. Or would AmigaDOS still have its
evil way with the protection flags? In which case, run a script that
recursively protects every file with the correct bits (755)
