No, nothing at all. I've got it iconifying at startup, as someone explained
how on here recently, but the problem was there before it was even doing
that.
I should have said earlier: I'm using Genesis from OS3.9 on an A1200T,
040/25Mhz + 603/160Mhz, BVision, 128Mb Fast RAM.
I read the replies a couple of hours ago, and I've just tried a load of
stuff, as suggested. Unfortunately, no difference. Immediately after cold
or warm reboot; with or without other programs loaded; whatever.
I deleted the amitcp:db/genesis.conf file and used Genesis Wizard, after
a cold reboot. The wizard led to the same continuous recoverable alerts
when it got to the "establishing network connection" bit.
Thank you to all who replied. I'll probably try the demo version of Miami.
Although I could reinstall Genesis - but it was a fresh installation
anyway. It's worth a try, I should have done it earlier. I'll try now.
It does seem, though, from the replies, that it could be a bug in Genesis
or one of the Vapor libraries.
Cheers,
Gareth.
