I am using GoldED and am not resaving the cgi-scripts at all.(i don't know
where the resaving bit came in?)
I have altered the script to run on my Apache installation,(using GoldED)
then finally ran chmod on the script and cgi-bin itself,
(still knowbody has confirmed the exact line to type in to USE chmod in the
first place, ) I may be doing something wrong.
Is there a way of checking what the permissions actually are at a particular
time so that I can run chmod and see if it's changed.
I use Magellan and know the permissions can be set using it's FTP functions.
Can this be done while running Apache. I've done it online, but the whole
point of using Apache is to check things running locally.
If it can be done what would the FTP address be?(http://localhost/ won't
work)

Regards

Dave
