Hmm. Interesting.
The only concern I have is the fact that OS4.x is going to be PPC only. And
according to the Zico pages on the Amiga site, part of it's specs are to support
many CPU's that are not only PPC. So I spose that they will have to change that.
And does it mean that we can only run OS4.x on Amiga-approved PPC systems?
What about those PPC CHRP (if that's correct) boards from IBM or other PPC
servers?
I certainly hope though that OS5 is going to run on any bloody CPU you damn well
feel like using (within reason obviously).
All in all - it seems pretty good. I'm just waiting to see what the final
pricing will be of a fully-equipped AmigaOne before I bug Mr Bank Manager ;-)
