You can't do this is on 99% of the FBI/Copyright notices, as they disable all
the skip (title, menu, chapter skip, fast forward etc) functions until they
have finsihed. A few discs do allow you to skip through, but not many. Some
mod chips allow you to skip the FBI/Copyright warnings aswell.
Disney got moaned at (on Region 1 discs anyway) for having adverts at the
start for their forthcoming films. No problem there, except they disabled
the skip functions aswell :) Soon got a slapping for that and they don't do
it now.
As for how to skip them, *sometimes* starting the disc, then pressing stop,
and then play again will skip the crap at the start and jump straight to the
start of the film, but that doesn't always work either.
