Wouldn't it be possible to attach a ordinary CD player to an older
(i.e. without a datacorder) spectrum via the tape socket? You could
then record all you spectrum games onto a CD and play them through
the CD player (you could skip to the right game by skiping the CD
then pressing play. Obviously it wouldn't be any good for anything
other than archiveing games. Just a thought.

PS does anyone know if it is possible to use an extrenal tape deck
with a +2a spectrum, as my datacorder is busted, and I hunger after
playing some classic games.
