Subject: | PCMCIA not fixed |
Hello,
I would to know if someone had this problem and knows how to solve it.
I had my PCMCIA slot fixed, using the text in Aminet(PCMCIAfix.txt,I think).
The person in my store did as explained, but couldn't test it.When I came home I realised that the
problem still existed:for my Amiga to recognise the Micronet Ethernet card I still had to remove and
re-insert the card each time I turn it on.This is more annoying than anything, but I would like to
close my tower for good, instead of leaving it open to access the slot.
Is there anything I can do(some patch) or was the operation not carried out properly? He says he
followed the instructions exactly.Could the Aminet scheme be wrong?
Any help would be welcome to,finally, have a straight-forward Internet connection.
Regards,
Nuno Berneaud
