I've just fitted a 4.3 gig HD to my system and found that it was NOT happy
I use IDE-Fix with the 4 way splitter and found that I had to drop all
partitions on that HD down to 1 gig or one of them would vanish (become non
DOS) at random.
Don't know if this will help you but in the IDE-Fix docs it mentions a
couple of Filesystems - TD64 and NSD. The former is available from
www.jschoenfeld.com but doesn't actually name my current Filesystem
(39.27) as being one of the ones it will patch successfully.......so I
haven't applied it - yet !

Sorry - cant help you there - I'm still on the original A1200
OS (3.1?)

I can't understand why it's still raining; the weekend is over.
