I have noe installed the latest version of SetPatch
that I can find (v44.2 off OS3.5 CD).

I used the 'SetPatch NONSD' which replaces the above
option. This worked previously so that should not be
part of the problem, I did '#' the scsi.device lines
out anyway, but the problem was the same.

No, nor does HDInstTools :(

Well, I have done the above only with the same
results. Any other ideas?
Over the weekend I have also done a clean install of
OS3.9. Did not help.
