Did you also use the line C:SetPatch QUIET SKIPROMUPDATES="scsi.device" in
your startup-sequence? You do need that installing.
Also, make sure that there are not any lines in your s-s that were added for
IdeFix.

Well, you should get it working from a fresh installation.
BTW, check that you DO have scsi.device in the 'DEVS:' drawer. IIRC, it was
missing from the OS3.5 install but I can't be fore sure.
