I've had no problems with VBCC (in terms of getting it working and
compiling) GCC *i* difficult, yes, but best option is to either get
GeekGadgets 2 or download EVERYTHIN from the GG site and then install the
extra 3Mb of package which converts it to WarpUP development system.

even a simple site such as http://www.steiff.com, I had to go elsewhere
browser-wise to see the menus on the right-hand side.
