Like that'll ever happen. Haage & Partner have "exclusivity" on most
of Stephan Rupprecht's code now, so unless it comes with OS3.9 then
it doesn't exist anymore (he even removed the older downloads from
his page!)

Neil, MorphOS is the AmigaOS in a box on top of MorphOS's own kernel.
AmigaOS is as AmigaOS does, no "special new kernel" underneath is
going to make it so easy to change the boot script name.
For something that tries to claim compatibility with AmigaOS, changing
such fundamental concepts would be just plain dumb.
The kernel underneath doesn't go near the "boot script". The kernel
underneath is not the problem. It just fires up "AmigaOS" and runs it..
In all reality MorphOS is nothing more than a hyper-sophisticated,
commercial UAE running on a custom operating system.
Thanks
