Even as someone who's used an Amiga for 12 years I can see the sense in that.
Sadly the Amiga as we all know and love it is almost dead and it's time to
move on. IMHO Amiga's latest announcements have put the lid on the coffin.
But this is not the place to talk about such matters.
I bet there's very few Amiga users that don't have a PC as well. Even this old
diehard will be getting one very soon. I'll be supporting the Amiga for as
long as at least 1 of my 4 Amiga's keeps going. But it's time to move on and
face reality. DOpus on the Amiga isn't a financially viable program to
develop anymore. DOpus6 for Windows is, and is one that should be supported
by everyone on this list who owns a PC. As far as I'm concerned Greg and
Jon's support and loyalty for the Amiga should not be in question, they've
supported it till it hurt. You can't expect then to live on thin air, they
have to eat and pay the bills like the rest of us.
Time to move on!
Two Questions Greg.
When is DOpus6 for Windows going to be available to buy?
Is there going to be a seperate mailing list for it, or will this list be used
for both?
