Hi people,
I just has joined the list. Sorry to read about the situation of
Dopus development for Amiga. I wa a pc & windoze user for some years and
recently an Amiga user and can tell you I have no intentions to return
to pc. I love my little machine with its Magellan II.
Any way, after many attempts I finally could install OS3.5 and runs very
well using Magellan II as Workbench replacement, except for two problems
I have now.
1. The icon for the RAM disk isn't the one that should be displayed so I
wrote a line in my user-startup to copy it to RAM: as disk.info and
works, but it always appears near the center of the screen and doesn't
remember the place were I snapshot it every time I boot; all other icons
do. Can you help me to fix it? Also, the def_icons for the DF0:, DF:4,
PC0: and PC4: doesn't display what they should, but when I look at the
def_xxx.info itself they seem to be ok. I installed the patch for OS3.5
already.
2. Don't know if this has something to do with dopus but I put
ClicktoFront in my WBStartup drawer but it doesn't seems to run
when the machine boots. When doubled clicked either in the commodities
or wbstartup drawer then it works. Any ideas why is that so?
